How To Plant & Grow Your Save The Dates
Your wedding’s save the dates couldn’t be easier to grow.
- Tear the card into small pieces.
- Soak the pieces briefly in water.
- Plant about 1/4 inch deep in soil.
- Do this in March or September.
- Keep the soil moist.
- Put it somewhere sunny.
- Expect sprouts in 10–14 days; some flowers won’t bloom till next year, so leave the spot alone.
*Don’t forget to add a little “plant me” note or planting instructions so guests know exactly what to do once the big day’s behind them.
