Terms & Conditions


We reserve the right to alter any details of products advertised without notice and while every effort is made to describe goods accurately in the advertisement, no warranty is given as to the accuracy and no responsibility will be accepted for error and any resulting loss.


The quotation of any order does not entail an obligation to supply the order or enter into a contract.


Quotations and Contract Orders are accepted subject to our right to adjust prices quoted to take account of any changes in the law or Government regulations requiring us to increase prices by way of direct taxation, import duties, customs and excise duties or otherwise. The prices are based on today’s current costs of production and in the event of any increase in wages or costs of materials to us occurring after the confirmation of the accepted contract, we shall be entitled to charge such increases to you. Quotations are only valid for 14 days after the initial quote date. Any price or quotations is subject to change at any point without notice, including advertised offers.


Unless otherwise specified, we’ll send all orders via Royal Mail 24 or 48 hour tracked delivery. Every effort will be made to deliver orders on time, but any delivery day specified is a best estimate and no liability is accepted for any loss arising from delay or error in the delivery of the goods. All deliveries will be charged at the prevailing rates applied at the date of such delivery. This includes all timed and weekend deliveries. We do not take any responsibility for damage during transit and you are obliged to inspect all orders at the time of delivery.

Cut-offs: Delivery and Large Orders

If an order is found to have no print-ready artwork this will delay your order by a minimum of one day or longer if the artwork takes longer to rectify between ourselves and the customer.

Our order deadlines can be changed at anytime

Any order deemed high value or high in quantity can be subject to further checks, including PDF and/or hard copy proofing which can delay your order, we will make every effort to advise you of this upon receiving your order.

Quantity Variation: We shall be deemed to have fulfilled our contract by delivery of a quantity within 5% plus or minus of the number of goods ordered and you will be charged at the contract rate for the quantity delivered.


Claims arising from damages, delay or partial loss in transit must be made in writing to us, so as to reach us within 7 working days of delivery. We do not cover any consequential loss. All claims with regards to the quality or quantity of the goods shall be made in writing to us so as to reach us within 7 working days of receipt of goods or such goods shall be deemed to comply as to quality and quantity within the terms of the contract. You must examine all goods delivered at the time of delivery. We shall not be liable for any loss arising from damage caused to the goods in transit unless loss or damage is noted on the delivery note at the time of delivery.

Artwork Requirements

We print what we receive so please make sure you send high quality print ready artwork. If you’re not 100% sure whether your artwork meets the minimum requirements, you have the option to pay for artwork verification, a printed proof and / or a physical sample.

Please only send PDF, JPEG, PNG or AI files.

There is a lot to think about when printing on Seed Paper. We always recommend you avoid block colours and stick to low ink designs. We generally advise that the design does not exceed 30% ink coverage. Whilst it is possible to print block colours, they will not only hide the natural appearance of seed paper but the ink also has a negative affect on the seeds, soil and germination rate plus the quality of the finish is not the best.

For best results we advise to keep your design simple, avoid large block colours by keeping backgrounds plain and utilising white space to show off the natural appearance of the paper. Let the paper do most of the talking. If we do notice any errors or experience any issues with the design, we will of course get in touch, however this is not a guarantee and it will slow down the production time of your order.

If you would like this guaranteed, we offer an artwork verification service, printed proof, and/or physical sample. Please note that we also offer an artwork/design service via our in-house design team, charged at £40.00 + VAT per hour.


Orders can arrive 5% above or below the quantity ordered, orders may have up to 5mm tolerance of movement on the sheet / 5mm movement on cutting / trimming / stitching and any other finishing not listed here.


If defects in the goods cause death injury or damage to personal property, our liability for any loss or damage suffered by you in respect of the goods shall be limited to the contract value of the goods. We are not liable for any financial loss incurred by you, including but not limited to expenses incurred by you, interest payments & loss of earnings, or similar gains you would have received on monies paid to us in lieu of any unfulfilled order. Nothing in these terms and conditions shall affect the rights of a consumer.

Payment Terms & Deposits

Irrespective of the agreed payment conditions, customers can be obliged to provide security for the payment of the amounts to be paid to the supplier pursuant to the contract, on the supplier’s first demand. 


We reserve the right to rectify defective work, where defects have been caused by us, by reprinting and no orders are liable for a refund. UK Seed Paper will credit your account if we deem a refund should be made. If we offer to replace your order you must accept such an offer unless you can show clear cause for refusing to do so. All personalised items cannot be returned or refunded. Customised items are final at purchase and cannot be returned. If you do opt to have work re-done by a third party without reference to us you automatically revoke your right to any remedy from us. All defective work must be returned to us before replacement if the subject work is not available we will assume that it has been accepted and no replacement will be provided. Refunds will take between 3 to 5 working days to complete once UK Seed Paper has agreed to a refund. This cannot be completed any faster.

Cancellation Charges

Any costs incurred for work already carried out up to the date of written cancellation will also be charged for and deducted before any refunds are made. If the order has not yet been paid for then an invoice will be raised for the amount concerned and sent to the responsible party. Promotion & Media

Any products printed and/or produced by UK Seed Paper can and will be used for promotional material across our website and content sharing platforms.
