Plantable RSVP Cards Your Guests Can Grow
Every RSVP card is printed on our handmade 280GSM seed paper, made at our UK paper mill from recycled post-consumer materials and packed with a native British wildflower mix.
Guests fill it in, pop it back in the post, and once the replies are in you get to plant them.
It is a small detail that does a lot of work. The card feels handmade before anyone reads a word of and the texture/visible seeds tell your guests that nothing ends up in the bin at either end.
Print full colour on one side or both with planet-friendly water-based inks.

What Kind Of Flowers Are Embedded in My Seed Paper RSVP Cards?
Every card is packed full of a native British wildflower mix of twelve seed species, chosen to help bees, butterflies and other pollinators:

How To Plant & Grow Your RSVP Cards
- Tear the cards into small pieces.
- Soak the pieces briefly in water.
- Plant about 1/4 inch deep in soil, a pot or straight in the ground.
- Plant in March or September for the best results.
- Keep the soil moist and water daily.
- Put it somewhere sunny.
- Expect sprouts in 10 to 14 days. Some wildflowers will not bloom until the following year, so leave the spot undisturbed.
If your replies come back over winter, keep them somewhere dry and plant in March. The seeds keep perfectly well in the meantime.
How Should I Get My Artwork Ready To Print?
Upload a print-ready PDF at the finished size of 105 x 148 mm with 3mm bleed on every edge.
Keep your reply-by date, address and any writing lines safely inside the trim line so nothing important sits near the cut.

Leaving Room For Guests To Write
Allow at least 10mm of clear height for every line a guest has to fill in, and keep those lines well away from the card’s edge.
A card that works usually has a line for names, a simple yes or no to accept or decline, a line for dietary requirements, and a reply-by date.
If you’re asking about song requests or transport, give those a full line each rather than squeezing them in.
Pale backgrounds are best behind anything a guest writes on. Ink on ink is hard to read and harder to write on.
Pens That Work On Seed Paper
Seed paper is uncoated, textured and full of seed, so it takes ink a little differently to a smooth card.
A fine fibre-tip or gel pen glides over it nicely. A heavy hand with a ballpoint can catch on the seeds, and a fountain pen will feather.
Worth a mention: if you are sending a pen back with the invitation, or writing guest names on by hand yourself, test it on a sample card first.
Colours On Seed Paper
Our paper is uncoated and textured, so colours read softer and more muted than they do on a screen. That suits most palettes, but worth knowing before you commit to a deep navy or a rich burgundy.
Keep ink coverage under 40% for the best finish, and remember the writing area needs to stay light.
Adding A QR Code
Taking replies through a wedding website instead of the post?
Print a QR code on the card and let guests choose. Use a high-contrast code at least 20 x 20 mm with clear space around it, and we will check that every code scans before your cards go to print.

Printing & Delivery
Your four working days start once we have received artwork we can print from, not the day you order. That covers both printing and delivery.
Every order is sent tracked with Royal Mail, so you will get a tracking link and number as soon as it is dispatched.

How much space should I leave for guests to write? At least 10mm of clear height per line, on a pale background, kept inside the trim line. A6 is big enough to do this comfortably.
