Which Flyer Size Should I Choose?
All four sizes are printed on the same 280GSM seed paper and can be single or double-sided. Select your size from the swatches above and the price updates as you go.
- A7, 74 x 105 mm. Our smallest flyer. Ideal for handouts, table drops, in-parcel inserts and seed favours, where cost per piece matters and the message is short.
- A6, 105 x 148 mm. Postcard size. The best all-rounder for direct mail, event invitations and thank-you notes, with enough room for artwork and a short block of copy.
- A5, 148 x 210 mm. The classic leaflet. Plenty of space for an offer, a programme, a price list or a QR code, and still comfortable to hand out on a stand or a stall.
- A4, 210 x 297 mm. Our largest flyer. Good for menus, exhibition handouts, one-page briefings and anything that needs a proper layout. It also works as a poster that people can plant when the event is over.
All four sizes are supplied flat. If you need a folded piece, our plantable greeting cards are perfect.

What Kind Of Flowers Will My Seed Paper Flyers Grow?
Every flyer is packed with a native British wildflower mix of twelve seed species, chosen to help bees, butterflies and other pollinators:
- Birdsfoot Trefoil
- Black Knapweed
- Black Medik
- Common Veitch
- Meadow Buttercup
- Musk Mallow
- Ox-Eye Daisy
- Red Campion
- Salad Burnet

Plus a mix of native grasses to help with rewilding. It is a genuine British meadow mix rather than a generic seed blend, so what grows reflects the real British countryside.
How To Plant & Grow Your Flyers
Add a short plant me line to your design so people know the flyer is not rubbish. Something like “read it, then plant it and grow a wildflower patch” works well along the bottom edge or on the reverse.
- Tear the flyer into small pieces.
- Soak the pieces briefly in water.
- Plant about 1/4 inch deep in soil, in a pot or straight in the ground.
- Plant in March or September for the best results.
- Keep the soil moist and water daily.
- Put it somewhere sunny.
- Expect sprouts in 10 to 14 days. Some wildflowers will not bloom until the following year, so leave the spot undisturbed.
Plant in March for the current season, or September for the following spring. The paper itself decomposes away in the soil, leaving nothing behind but the flowers.
If your campaign runs through winter, tell people to keep the flyer somewhere dry until March. The seeds keep perfectly well in the meantime.
How Should I Get My Artwork Ready To Print?
Upload a print-ready PDF at the finished size with 3mm bleed on every edge:
- A7: 74 x 105 mm
- A6: 105 x 148 mm
- A5: 148 x 210 mm
- A4: 210 x 297 mm
Keep text, logos and contact details safely inside the trim line so nothing important sits near the cut.

Single Or Double-Sided
Single-sided keeps things clean and costs less. Double-sided gives you a second surface for the detail, and it is the easy place to put your planting instructions so they never crowd the front of the design.
If you are printing double-sided, supply both pages in one PDF, front page first, and keep the ink coverage guidance below in mind on each side.
Colours On Seed Paper
Our paper is uncoated, textured and full of seeds, so colours read softer and more muted than they do on a screen. That suits most brand palettes nicely, but it is worth knowing before you commit to a deep navy or a rich black.
Keep ink coverage under 40% for the best results. Pale backgrounds with dark text almost always look better than the reverse, and they let the texture of the paper do the work. This matters more on A5 and A4, where large blocks of solid colour are tempting.
Adding A QR Code
Driving people to a landing page, a booking form or a menu? Use a high-contrast QR code at least 20 x 20 mm with clear space around it. We test that every code scans before your flyers go to print.
On A7 flyers, give the code a little more breathing room than you think it needs. Small pieces with busy artwork are where scanning problems usually show up.

Flyer runs tend to be large, so it is worth feeling the paper before you commit. Order a seed paper sample, and you can check the thickness, the texture and the visible seeds for yourself.
You will also see and approve your artwork before the full run goes to print, so there are no surprises when the box arrives.

Your four working days start once we have received artwork we can print from, not the day you order. That covers both printing and delivery.
Every order is sent tracked with Royal Mail, so you will get a tracking link and number as soon as it is dispatched.

What sizes do you offer?
A7, A6, A5 and A4, all single or double-sided on the same 280GSM seed paper. Custom sizes and shapes are available through our online quote form.
Should I go single or double-sided?
Single-sided is cheaper and fine for a short message. Double-sided gives you room for detail and a natural home for your planting instructions.
Can I have my flyers folded?
No, flyers are supplied flat. Seed paper is thick and does not fold cleanly, so for anything folded take a look at our plantable greetings cards instead.
Do you offer bulk discounts?
Yes, the price per flyer drops as the quantity goes up. Choose your size, print option and quantity from the swatches above and the discount is applied automatically. For runs over 1000, use our enquiry form and we will quote you individually.
Is the paper recycled and compostable?
Yes, it is made at our UK paper mill from 100% recycled post-consumer waste, and it is plastic-free, chemical-free and fully compostable. Even unplanted, nothing goes to waste.
Can I order a sample first?
Yes, and on a big run we would recommend it. Order a seed paper sample to feel the paper before you order thousands.
How much does each flyer weigh?
Roughly 20 grams for an A4 flyer, with the smaller sizes weighing proportionally less. This is handmade paper, so weights do vary slightly. If you are costing up postage on a direct mail run, allow a little headroom.
What file format do you need, and do I need bleed?
A print-ready PDF is best, with 3mm bleed on every edge and text and logos kept inside the trim line. We also accept high-quality PNG and JPEG, or a Canva share link, and we will get it print-ready.
Can I add a QR code?
Yes, use a high-contrast code at least 20 x 20 mm with clear space around it, and we will test that it scans before your flyers go to print.
