How To Plant /Grow Your Thank You Cards

Growing your seed paper is a really simple process but it’s important you follow all the right steps if you want to see flowers appearing in Spring.

We strongly recommend adding a ‘call to plant’ somewhere on your plantable thank you card to help your recipients through the process.

Here is a simple step-by-step guide to successfully germinating and growing your seed paper thank you cards:

  • Tear your plantable paper into small pieces
  • Soak your seed paper in water for around an hour to start breaking down the paper surrounding your seeds
  • Plant under approximately 1/4 inch of soil in March for the current season or September for the following Spring
  • Water at least once a day to ensure your paper and seeds don’t dry out (more than once on hot days)
  • You should start to see sprouts emerge after about 10-14 days

Some UK native wildflowers won’t bloom until the following year so make sure to not disturb your seed paper after it’s been planted.
